                    Is CANECT a virtual or in-person event?

                    The 2023 CANECT Conference will be held as a hybrid event, with attendees able to choose between either in-person or virtual participation. Course sessions will be live-streamed, however they will not be recorded.

                    You can choose to attend either in-person or virtually. Attendees can switch between options until April 28, by contacting Fees may apply.

                    Do CANECT courses qualify as Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

                    CANECT courses are eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

                    CANECT courses may be considered for the Professional Engineers Ontario PEAK Program. According to PEO, “CPD activities must be assessed individually to determine suitability for the licence holder,” and meet criteria that can be read here.

                    Note that PEO does not endorse, validate or accredit any CPD activity. It is up to the engineer to ensure courses relate to their engineering practice.

                    Our courses are designed to cover regulations, industry trends, best practices, and technical developments in a wide range of environmental compliance and due diligence topics.
