Carl Spensieri, MASc., LLB, P.Eng., President, Steamboat Risk Management. Carl Spensieri helps organizations manage complex environmental and business risks through innovative insurance and risk transfer solutions.

Drawing on a unique combination of environmental engineering, underwriting, and legal training, he advises clients on environmental liabilities, mergers and acquisitions, property transactions, professional liability exposures, and major infrastructure projects across Canada.

Before entering the insurance industry, Carl practiced as an environmental engineer, providing him with practical experience in environmental assessment and risk management.

He holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London (UK).

Carl is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
